Hey guys.  Okay so there was an art challenge by my club that asked us to choose an old saturday morning cartoon character and redesign it.  I chose Darkwin Duck off of the old Disney Channel cartoon from the early 90's.

This is the first inked over sketch I did.

Work in progress.  Although it's pretty far along.  The bridge is actually a silhoette made from a screen cap of the bridge where DW makes his headquarters.

In light of being remiss about this blog I've decided to schedule specific days to update it. This blog should now be updated every Wednesday and Sunday.  We'll try that for a litte and see how it goes.

First of all, today I thought I'd provide images of my final pieces of the art I posted last time.

Here's the completed image of my original Fakemon, Bariblaze(right) and the official Pokemon Emboar(left).

And as well I have finished my picture of my original character Dryad conversing with Kate Bishop of the Young Avengers. This one went to my comics portfolio in the image gallery.  You can find a bigger version there.

Next up, this is a rough for another single page concept.  Machine Teen narrowly avoids getting a warm yellow wake-up shower from Thori, Loki's pet Hell-pup.

Okay, I'm about 2/3 of the way through rendering  my Dryad and Kate Bishop page.  It's coming along pretty well I think.

Also, I began this sketch of my original fire starter pokemon Bariblaze (on the right) teaming up with the 5th gen starter Emboar (on the left)

And have completed the color flats for them yesterday.

Hello to anyone reading this.  This website is still under slow construction but I wanted to start this blog here to show my work in progress and process. 

So, I thought for starters I'd post something of a fan work in progress. These are color flats and messing around with the background of this single-page comic.  An original character, named Dryad, who's origins lay with a supervillain within the Marvel Universe is conversing with Kate Bishop, a member of the Young Avengers.
