Beneath the flame-pattern tuft of fur on it's chest is a fire sack that regulates the temperature throughout it's entire body and is essential in using it's thermal sensor ability. It circulates internal heat through it's tail, igniting the flammable oils at the tip. The flame is involarily extinguished soon after it falls asleep. |
It is adept at making campfires with dry twigs and grass. They are often found near it's nests and resting areas. It likes to roast small berries with it's tail for a treat. Their fur is flame retardant. |
